Port Hardy is located on the rugged north coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, and is known for some of the best saltwater fishing in Canada. Today we set out in search of BIG lingcod!
In this epic trip, I got out with Kyle from Rapala VMC, and Mike & Tanya, the crew behind the legendary Codfather Charters. Our mission was to hook into some giant lingcod in the waters off the coast of Port Hardy… and let’s just say, the results did not disappoint.
*some of these fish were harvested. And yes, if you’re wondering, a few were gaffed. I decided not to show that footage out of respect for viewers who’d rather not see it. These fish make incredible table fare, and the family was stoked to have some fresh dinners. Cheers.
