Sendenyu is a historic Rengma Naga village, where significant events took place. in 2018, Sendenyu Baptist Church and Council of Rengma Baptist Church [CRBC] jointly celebrated centenary jubilee from December 14 to 16 to commemorate the advent of Christianity and the establishment of the first Church in Rengma soil in 1918.
