Master Farrier Combats Canker Foot Disease - Clydesdale Horse Rehab Journey

Описание: We take Oliver, Beauty and Luna to Reuben's, our farrier/blacksmith. He puts a full set of shoes on Oliver and Beauty and goes over some issues we are having with their hoofs. Then we move on to Luna, our older Clydesdale mare that has canker in her back feet. Reuben goes right to work debriding the canker in her hoofs, via our vets advice. we didnt know what we would find once he started cutting into her hoofs and unfortunately its a bit worse then we had hoped for. Not as much progress had been made then we originally anticipated. Luna was a trooper though and we hope someday, and soon we can get this beat.

Luna is a Clydesdale mare, roughly 20 years old. Luna was given to us when we bought Beauty, our 5 year old Clydesdale mare. Luna has severe thrush/canker we have been treating her for. We have been doing a lot of different treatments, trying to figure out what works the best to combat this canker.
