When disaster strikes, a hull breach on a passenger ship, a cargo freighter veering off course, a life-support malfunction in deep space, Captain Cade Cassidy and the Starlane Squadron leap into action.

The Squadron operates out of the Celestial Command Station, a mobile, advanced headquarters orbiting Mars.
