The Iranian Navy Commander declared the plan to join a naval Alliance during a televised program, albeit the specifics of the alliance are unknown. Iran is reportedly in talks with Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and Qatar as well as on the formation of a naval alliance. India and Pakistan will also be part of the alliance.
