First Impression of Cairo! How They Treat Tourist in Egypt…

Описание: First day in Cairo, Egypt and... wow. It was a lot!

We checked out the famous Khan El Khalili market, saw the Nile River for the first time, wandered through Downtown Cairo, and got lured into a very persuasive papyrus shop (yep, we fell for it-). We chatted with tons of local sellers and Cairo taxi drivers — everyone had something to sell or a story to tell.

We tried some amazing Egyptian street food (solid 10/10), visited the historic Cairo Citadel, passed by the hauntingly fascinating City of the Dead, and ended the day watching sunset at the beautiful Al-Azhar Park.

Our plans shifted thanks to the unexpected papyrus detour, but honestly? The day was chaotic, exciting, and so much fun to explore. Traveling in Cairo is unpredictable — and that’s kind of the magic of it.
