HELP! My Dog Steals Trash & Paper!

Описание: If you have a dog that raids the trash can then you are not alone. This is a common problem for dog and puppy owners alike. Garbage is really not more interesting than dog food, the problem here is your dog's desire to forage and scavenge and hunt.
This goes the same for a dog that likes to shred paper towels, toilet paper and kleenex type tissue. I can't tell you how many phone calls and emails I have gotten with owners looking to train that out of their pup. I don't know why they like to rip up napkins other than perhaps it is just satisfying to them when something is easy to tear and break into pieces.

If your dog is eating garbage, do consider whether the trash being eaten has any common theme (assuming it has happened more than once). It is possible that your dog is lacking a vital nutrient, whether a macronutrient like fat or a micronutrient like copper-you never know until you take a good look at the materials being stolen and how desperate your dog seems to be to get these treasures.

Most of the time this is just an issue of a bored dog that finds this activity a fun and rewarding way to pass the time. Hopefully this video gives you some new insight into solving this common problem.
