Описание: World famous Nalanda University also known as Nalanda Mahavihar attracted students from countries like China, Tibbat, Korea, Japan , Srilanka ,Mangolia and many other countries of south east asia and south asia . Bauddhism was spreading fast and gaining popularity not only in India but accross the globe . The growing popularity of Buddhism was based on its promise of equality of people and principles of non-violence as it appealed to highly divided hindu society the majority of which were treated as untouchables. Those who earned from offerings in temples and performance of rituals felt that their livelyhood were threatened.
