Elevator Action EX is a relatively unknown remake of the original Elevator Action. It was released in Japan back in September 2000, and also in Europe in very smalll quantities. It was never released in America, meaning the European/English language version is rather sought after when in surfaces on eBay.
Where gameplay is concerned, it is almost identical to the classic Arcade version. It's worth picking up if you are a fan of the original or fancy a action puzzle. Later levels include much more intricate floor designs making the paths you take much more dangerous and taxing.
However if you're not the biggest fan of the Gameboy Color, then look into Elevator Action Returns.
