These videos are documenting the adventures, trials and tribulations of my attempt to turn raw desert land into a food forest and homestead. The dirt is primarily sugar sand with some deposits of clay. I will take my love of gardening and my training in permaculture to turn the sand into rich garden soil and the land into a food forest. This parcel of land was purchased in January 2017 - it has never inhabited by people but there is an old corral on the land that I was told house a steer or 2 at one time.
