Описание: Russia has launched a fresh wave of deadly strikes across Ukraine, killing at least two people in the Kyiv region just hours before European leaders prepare to meet in Paris to push forward a peace plan Kyiv says is nearly complete. Air raid sirens sounded nationwide after midnight as Ukrainian air defences engaged incoming missiles and drones. In Kyiv, a private medical facility was set ablaze, killing one person and injuring three others, while another pre-dawn strike killed an elderly man in the nearby city of Fastiv. The attacks triggered power outages as temperatures plunged to -8 degrees Celsius. The escalation comes as diplomatic efforts intensify. Security advisers from 15 countries, including France, Germany, Britain, NATO and the European Union, gathered in Kyiv ahead of a high-level summit in Paris aimed at ending Europe’s deadliest conflict since World War II. Yet talks remain fragile, with Moscow and Kyiv locked in deep disagreement over territory. Meanwhile, Moscow claims further battlefield gains, announcing the capture of the village of Grabovske in Ukraine’s northeastern Sumy region — an area previously spared from heavy fighting. Ukraine has accused Russian forces of forcibly relocating residents from the village in what officials described as “medieval raids.”
