Prof Jean Brunches proclaimed as Nature is not mandatory however permissive.
Regions are shaped by human capabilities and acquired characteristics. Prof H J Fleure classified regions not biased upon the natural biotic factors of surroundings rather influenced by human capability and acquired characteristics
Human ecology involves selective adaptations to surroundings, not determinism. Prof H H Barrows asserted the human ecology concept to evaluate human adaptation with their surroundings adjusted by selective modifications rather limited by deterministic approach.
Adaptive traits develop in response to immediate surroundings and resource utilization. Prof Isaiah Bowman affirmed that Human learnt adaptive traits reacting to their immediate surroundings for economic resource utilization, however deterministic effects even predominant indeed.
Humanity learns to adapt and thrive, overcoming deterministic effects.
