Cass and Frankie's Engagement Party Do-Over, 1990--Part 1

Описание: Guests, led off by Michael and John, begin arriving at the Cory Mansion for Cass and Frankie's second engagement party, hosted by Jamie, on the 4th of July 1990. Michael and John run into Grant, who came to the mansion to discuss his medical condition with Jamie. Michael notices the tension between John and Michael when he introduces them, unaware of their arguing over Sharlene/Sharly. Grant asks John why he's not with his wife, and after John tells him he doesn't want to talk to him now, Grant and John exchange barbs. Grant runs into the arriving Felicia on his way out. Felicia greets Jamie, Michael, and John, her arms full of gifts, and learns that Cass and Frankie haven't arrived yet. Michael tells Felicia that Donna didn't come to the party because she's staying home with Mikey; the custody trial for Mikey is looming, and Donna wants to spend as much time with Mikey as possible. John tells Felicia that Sharlene is dealing with some emotional problems, but she'll be fine, and Felicia agrees that Sharlene will be fine because she has John. Cass and Frankie arrive, and Michael pulls Cass aside to talk to him before the party begins. Michael tells Cass that Stacey dropped in on Vicky yesterday. Stacey isn't supposed to do that unless Cass is present, and Vicky got the feeling that Stacey was trying to trip her up. Michael tells Cass that he knows Stacey is Cass's family, but this is about Michael's family and he's going to do whatever it takes to protect them, even if that means playing hardball.
