With him, we also discover the architecture of the basilica. Gaudi created new shapes and structures to support the building. Feliu Martin, head of the stonemason's workshop, feels real pride in working on the Sagrada Familia, because the stonemasonry technique is unique here. Feliu makes us admire the surprising geometry of the place: the parabolic bell towers, the hyperbola windows... So many complex shapes designed by Gaudi, in a constant search for new beauty, elevation and harmony.
Finally, Etsuro Sotoo, an artist of Japanese origin, will also surprise us. He is in charge of the sculpture workshop. For 36 years, he has devoted his life, and his art, to the Sagrada Familia. Fascinated by Gaudi's work, he tries to remain in harmony with his work. We follow him to the heights of the basilica, to discover the sculptures covered in varnished and colored mosaics. A technique much appreciated by Gaudi. Loli Toribio has lived opposite the Sagrada Familia for over 80 years. She shows us, with pride and emotion, the exceptional view of this more than century-old construction site that has fascinated her since her childhood.
