US Warns Indian Students: Violate Visa Rules, Lose Future Entry

Описание: The U.S. Embassy in India has warned Indian students in American colleges that skipping classes, dropping out, or failing to inform their school could lead to visa revocation and loss of future visa eligibility. “Always adhere to the terms of your visa,” the embassy said in a May 27 post on X. The warning comes amid a broader immigration crackdown, including a May 23 order by the Department of Homeland Security revoking Harvard University’s ability to admit foreign students, citing security concerns. A federal judge has since paused the order, but nearly 6,800 international students remain in limbo.
