Best LAS VEGAS Thai Restaurant?! Is Lotus of Siam Overrated?

Lotus of Siam Red Rock is such a beautiful restaurant with bamboo scaffolding, red bricks and stone arches.

Being dubbed the best Thai restaurant in Las Vegas and the US, I was excited to finally try Lotus of Siam. However, it ended up being quite underwhelming.

We tried the signature dishes at Lotus of Siam like the Khao Soi, Crispy Duck Chu Chee, Nam Kao Tod, Dad Deaw, Garlic Prawns, Pineapple Fried Rice, Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Coconut Tapioca Dessert.

Top Picks were Garlic Prawns and Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Pineapple Fried Rice was delicious but was very small in portion.

Beef Khao Soi was very bland and used ground beef. Crispy Duck was a measly 6 small slices with no garnish.

Portions were generally small for the price.

I'm not sure if this is just Lotus of Siam Red Rock location as I haven't been to the other two locations.
