The Ouse Valley Viaduct, gracefully reaching across the South Downs for over 180 years. This Victorian mammoth of a structure has been allowing trains to race between the capital and the coast in style, being a popular photo spot and now grade II listed architecture. Reliving one of my favourite video shoots ever during a cold winter's day, and watching two steam expresses parade across, let me tell you the complete history of the Ouse Valley Viaduct.
