Описание: L’Oréal Paris Canada had it's inaugural Women of Worth Awards Gala Launch honouring incredible women across Canada for their invaluable contributions to society.

This annual recognition program promotes and honours inspiring Canadian women volunteers who have improved the lives of people and families in their community, their province or across Canada. It embodies the L’Oréal Paris belief that “Every Woman is Worth It” by championing such causes as women’s health and education, and defending the rights of women in need.

“In bringing Women of Worth to Canada, L'Oréal Paris will empower ten of the country’s most innovative volunteer champions to heighten the impact of their philanthropic work while shining a well-deserved spotlight on their work, their cause and their altruism,” said Stéphanie Binette, General Manager of L'Oréal Paris in Canada. “I am awestruck by the untold stories of selfless Canadian women volunteers driving change for so many people in need. Their passion and innovation are virtues at the heart of the L'Oréal Paris brand, and we will be honoured to officially support and salute them as Women of Worth.”

In addition to providing Canadian Honourees with a total of $110,000 in financial grants to support their organizations, the Women of Worth program will provide a platform for Canadian women to promote their causes and create new pathways for their philanthropic endeavours to grow and serve even more people. Women of Worth will offer marketing support, provide tools and training, and facilitate networking with top decision makers, leaders and influencers to help Honourees make a greater impact.

L’Oréal Paris Canada donated $10,000 on behalf of each winner to a charitable organization of her choice. Each winner received an all-expenses-paid vacation for two to Toronto to be recognized during the Gala on March 8th as part of International Women’s Day.
