First of all, Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible women who invest so much time, love and devotion into the children, both young and old, in their lives!

This week’s episode had Corey a little frustrated. After a wonderful time with Nathan and Marissa from Less Junk, More Journey, we headed north toward Elkhart, Indiana, for some meetings with our partners and some maintenance appointments for the RV.

On our way, we stopped in La Grange, Kentucky, to see one of our FOS Crew Members, Matt with Tobacco Barn Craftsman. Lily designed their logo and was so excited to get a shirt of her own with the design on it! Matt took us around his sweet little town which is know for the train track that runs right through the middle of Main Street!

There is NO regular train schedule, so we lucked out getting to see the last couple cars of the train going through when we got there that morning! Matt took us to a local coffee shop, the Mercantile on Main where they sell some of Matt and Sara’s pieces, and his friend’s donut shop, Dough Baby Donuts! And, for the record, their apple fritters are some of the best we have ever had!

It was great to check out the town and the “Be Kind” mural that was painted by HGTV when they came with their Hometown Kickstart series. Matt and Sara were featured with their amazing creations on that episode!

Now for the down side of the trip... The truck started giving us an emissions system warning saying that in 175 miles the truck would be limited to 65mph. Then it went down to 55mph 75 miles later. The frustration we mentioned earlier was created by conflicting information on the internet (shocking, we know!) saying that it might stay at 55mph, or it might drop us to 5mph which would be extremely dangerous, especially towing.
