This film focuses on Yan, a shepherd, cheesemaker, and one favorite artisan food producer of The Cook's Atelier. This film is inspired by the slow food movement and those searching for this connection with their food.

The Cook's Atelier was founded by mother-daughter duo American expats, Marjorie Taylor and Kendall Smith Franchini in 2008.
