We all know that providing choice and a sense of community for our residents is important. Those cornerstones of care have helped Sanjay Dhrona and the team at The Close Care Home in Abingdon build initiatives to help residents enjoy food, and instil freedom and dignity at the same time.
Through bringing together the activity and kitchen teams, Sanjay has created new ways to get everyone excited about their food choices. Interactions with kitchen staff are encouraged, and a sense of ownership keeps all parties engaged.
