£24.99 Flybe 2.0 Belfast City to Heathrow | My last flight with Flybe

Описание: Welcome to my 6th Flight Report (My 557th flight). This is the second part of my trip from Glasgow to London, featuring flight from Belfast to Heathrow. From Glasgow International Airport, there are plenty of British Airways and easyJet flights to five different London airports everyday. Instead of flying directly from Glasgow to London, I have chosen to take a very unusual route, from Glasgow to London Heathrow, via Belfast City Airport.

The trip was made possible by recent commencement of Flybe 2.0 flight from Glasgow to Belfast, and onwards from Belfast to London Heathrow. Flybe went into administration in early 2020, just before COVID-19 pandemic, however under a new ownership, Flybe 2.0 have come back with several domestic UK flights in April 2022 and with their launching fares, I managed to grab bargain fares from Glasgow to London Heathrow via Belfast City Airport, paying only £45 all inclusive (GLA to BHD £19.99 and BHD to LHR £24.99). Although you can also get easyJet flight from Glasgow to London for a mere £20 or more, what is the fun of flying direct for an Aviation geek if you could fly via another airport. I was also excited to try the "new" Flybe and see how they perform compared to the "old" entity.

Update on 28th Jan 2023: Flybe 2.0 has again gone into administration sadly and I don't think there will be another come back in near future.
