Bernadete Leal was born and raised in Brazil and has been working with Spiritism for more than 18 years. She has been a Spiritist educator devoting her time to compiling materials, resources, and workshops to educate children, youth, parents, and educators in Spiritism in the United States. She studied Spiritist Philosophy at FEESP (Spiritist Federation of the State of Sao Paulo, Brazil). She is an Elementary School teacher in San Diego, CA and she is the coordinator of the Youth Program for the United States Spiritism Symposium. She is also a collaborator of Kardec Radio team and The Spiritist Magazine writing Spiritist articles about children and youth. Bernadete Leal is currently a board member of the Spiritist Society of San Diego.
