I've had to put aside making videos this year to dig my head into the sand and finish a project 10 years in the making. After months of typesetting, proof checking, and final adjustments to tunes, I'm excited to finally release my first music book consisting of everything that I've produced over the past decade.

Ceol Beag for the Great Highland Bagpipe - Volume 1. This new book includes 345 pages of 150+ tunes, with tons of unreleased NEW music.

It was super important to me to include both modern and traditional styles by writing competition-style MSR tunes (26 MSR tunes ranging from 2 to 10 parts) as well as a number of 3/4, 4/4, and compound marches. It also includes all arrangements and harmonies settings colour coded for easy reading. Behind each tune is the story that inspired each piece and a few hidden easter eggs too.

I wouldn’t be where I am today without the support from YOU, friends, family, and other fellow musicians in this chapter of my musical journey - it was all of you who inspired me to write music in the first place. Never would I thought I'd play an instrument let alone write something - we truly are in a great community! As one door closes, a new chapter begins and volume 2 is already underway. I hope you enjoy this collection of tunes, memories, and gratitude.

Lastly, thank you to all who supported my music over the years, you've encouraged me to venture further and further into the uncharted world of music which in turn has taken me on one hell of a journey. For that, I'm grateful.

Well, now that's all done and dusted - I'm off to write more music!
