In 2000 Sam Schmidt hit the wall in his Indycar at over 200mph. He wasn't expected to survive the accident and his first prognosis was a short life on a ventilator, paralysed from the next down. 21 years later he took the Festival of Speed by storm driving his Chevrolet Corvette C8 up the famous hill climb using just the movement of his head to steer and a tube in his mouth to accelerate and brake.
I was invited to meet Sam and the team from Arrow to find out more about just how he drives the car and his incredible journey so far.
