What an amazing & exciting day for our eagle family! The visiting juvie continues to come to the nest daily and grabs food deliveries and eats on the nest and spends time lying next to Bodie to rest. In this video there are 3 food deliveries (Gabby brings a squirrel and a huge fish and Beau brings a big fish) in the mid morning hours.

Gabby arrives with a fat squirrel & Bodie & the juvie rush to claim it. The juvie got the prey and Bodie bit the juvie's toes and then Gabby's toes while trying to grab it. The juvie ate part of the squirrel and then Beau arrives with a fish. The Juvie mantles and claims that too -Bodie bites Dad's toes! The juvie begins eating the fish and Bodie claims the squirrel and both eat on the nest!

Gabby arrives with a fish and the juvie mantled & claimed it. Bodie continued eating the squirrel - its self feeding skills are doing great pulling and tearing. Gabby went to LOP to perch. Then the juvie left the nest and Gabby flew to the nest and Bodie rushes to her and she begins to feed Bodie. Bodie has its big kids pants on now and grabs the smaller fish and takes it to the side of the nest - saying "I can do this by myself now Mom". Gabby began to eat from the big fish. Bodie came back over and Gabby gave a great feeding!. Bodie's crop has never been this big.

Bodie walks away and we see the result of the feeding! Cropzilla! The juvie returns and heads to Gabby and she feeds the visitor too! Amazing to watch the dynamics unfold here. Both the juvie and Bodie ate extremely well and there was plenty left over for Gabby to eat! Thank you for watching!
