Amit Shah on Delimitation | No Loss for South India Seats

Описание: Amit Shah addressed the Lok Sabha and responded to concerns about the Delimitation Bill and changes in representation.

He said that South India’s political power will not decrease but actually increase. He shared data for the proposed 816-member Lok Sabha.

According to him:

Karnataka seats may rise from 28 to 42
Andhra Pradesh from 25 to 31
Telangana from 17 to 26
Kerala from 20 to 30
Tamil Nadu from 39 to 59

He explained that while seats are increasing, the percentage share of states will remain almost the same.
