21st Century Toys was a US toymaker that went bankrupt some 20 or sort years ago. They espcialised in the manufacture of pre-painted and pre-built 1/32 and 1/18 scale models.
The model here represents the Macchi C202 of Italian ace Giorgio Solari when he was based in Tunisia, North Africa, in 1943. Compared to my Hasegawa C202s, whose undersides were painted in light blue, the 21st kit's underside is painted in light grey.
My main issue with this kit was the really tight fit between the wings and the fuselage. The fit was so tight that the wings have a slight negative dihedral, only seen when you look the kit from the front. Another issue is that the main tyres are undersizes, maybe more appropriate for a 1/48 model.
