Thiruneermalai is an ancient temple located near Chennai dedicated to LORD VISHNU. The temple is situated on the summit of small hillock. This temple is considered one of the 108 Divyadesams of Lord Vishnu. The speciality of this temple is that this is the only place where Vishnu can be worshipped in Four of his famous poses, ie Standing( NEER VANNA PERUMAL), SITTING ( SANTHA NARASIMMHAR), WALKING ( ULAGALANTHA VAMANA PERUMAL), SLEEPING ( RANGANATHA PERUMAL). The temple is well connected by road from all places in Chennai. The Hill is easily climbed even by aged people.
