The story behind Lucali helps further increase the legendary status of the pizzeria. Prior to opening Lucali in 2006, owner Mark Iacono had never dreamt of being a cook. From working in construction, to studying at the famous Di Fara’s, to serving A-list celebrities like Jay Z and Beyoncé, the story of Lucali is one filled with mystic and legend.
