We had about 20 years of glass accumulated from customers that sent it in to get reverse engineered that we no longer needed - so we decided to have some fun with them! We let some of our employees take a stab at them and compared them directly with our polycarbonate replacement windshields.
Our polycarbonate (Lexan®) is 250x stronger than glass, as you can see here. With our added SUPERCOAT™, you can clean it like glass and use your windshield wipers like normal. Our windshields are 1/2 the weight of glass - trust me, the glass was heavier than we expected! We offer most windshields in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" thicknesses for heavy equipment and as thin as 1/8" for motorsports.
