I have so many memories of doing this bike ride through Torrance on 190th with my dad and sister. I love biking deeply and it's hard to marginalize me enough to dampen that, but whew, this is an awful ride. The state of the sidewalks (and everything else) is so, so frustrating.
It is possible to avoid 190th for part of the trip by taking a really circuitous, confusing route through side streets. Not easy unless you know the area well, and that route has its own issues.
