Описание: The house of Mrs. J.I. Reid on MIddle Street caught fire one weekday afternoon in the spring of 1972 and this video is a home movie of the conflagration, shot by local resident Clayton O. Nordan, and the efforts of the Montevallo Volunteer Fire Department to bring it under control. Only a shell of the house was saved, leading to its eventual demolition.
