Описание: We’d been trying to line up a time to record for quite a while, and when Ben finally made it out, it felt like a long time coming. We filmed Everything I Thought I Needed outside, just the way we like to do things, simple, natural, and real. After the session, we got to talking about the Texas music scene, how it’s changed over the years, and the kind of community that keeps it going.

Ben’s one of those songwriters who puts his whole story into the music. He’s spent the last decade writing honest songs that sit somewhere between country, soul, and Americana. Every line feels lived in, and that comes through the moment he starts to sing.

This take felt honest. No frills, just a guitar, a good song, and a mostly quiet space to play it.
