We begin the week with an unexpected joy on our homestead as one of our hens hatches 13 baby chicks, and my husband and I carefully relocate them to a safer place. The next morning brings another last-minute decision—celebrating Christmas morning a day early since our girls were sick and my husband had to work on Christmas Day.
I’m also sharing a cozy preview from my brand new read-aloud channel, @StorytimeatFiresideCottage featuring The Gingerbread Castle—a gentle fireside-style storytime for little ones.
