So, I've gotten to a stage where I've been told I'm pre-diabetic, and the heaviest I've ever been (Currently 27 stone / 172kg / 378lb) and honestly, I'm kind of scared.
My sister has said that she's scared that I'm going to end up having a heart attack, and she doesn't want to lose me, and I agree with her.
My health has taken a massive turn lately, with the ongoing urology issues, the gastro constant tummy cramps, and the incisional hernia that's just getting worse day by day, on top of the constant worsening anxiety due to the drop in salary I'm currently taking due to being on long-term sick, plus my mental state taking a complete nose-dive into the floor.
I'm going to be trying to do what I can to get this weight off, starting with exercise. My aim for the next month (and longer), is to do at least 30 minutes (up to an hour) of synth every day on my quest 2, until I move my whole set up next door, and get my green screen and mixed reality set up again, plus start cutting out all the crap from my diet. I'll be aiming to cook at least one meal per day, with chicken, rice, etc to use up what I have in my freezers. It's going to be a lot of work, but I need your guys's help with this. I'm really struggling to look after myself lately, and I'm just in a downwards spiral, with currently no way of seeming to be able to get out of it.
I will be setting up a donation goal on stream, so I am able to purchase a custom hernia support belt, which needs to be shipped from Canada, however, this isn't cheap (£220 including shipping), as well as needing to find £100 excess to pay for my private health care, which will last me until the end of the year, so I can finally get all these issues sorted, and hopefully get myself back on my feet.
If anyone is able to help / give advice / anything small, please post in here, as I need all the help I can get. ❤️
GOALS
1. Lose 100lb total in 26 weeks (Realistically, I want to be losing 3lb a week, however, I will probably lose more due to the weight I have to lose).
2. Cut out the sugary snacks from my diet (I will likely still have 1 packet of crisps per day, but that's less than I'm eating now)
2.5. This also means no more takeaways for me. If I want to eat, I have to cook.
3. Aim to cook 1 fresh meal per day, which has chicken / protein, and a mix of rice and veg (I might meal prep for this)
4. Aim to do at least 30 minutes every day in Synth (I will be recording and uploading to Youtube, rather than streaming, but will see if I can do an occasional stream once the set up has been moved next door)
5. Get out of pre-diabetic stages
