Indices Open Lower Amid Weak Global Cues; Sensex Down 489 Points At 82,077, Nifty At 25,251

Описание: The Indian indices opened lower today amid weak global cues with Nifty below 25300.

The Sensex was down 489.29 points or 0.59 percent at 82,077.08, and the Nifty was down 167.25 points or 0.66 percent at 25,251.65. About 748 shares advanced, 1610 shares declined, and 183 shares unchanged.

Hindalco, Tata Steel, Eternal, JSW Steel, Jio Financial were among major losers on the Nifty, while gainers were Nestle, Power Grid Corp, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma, Grasim.
