In this wide-ranging conversation, Rick Archer speaks with Robert Lawrence Kuhn about consciousness, reality, and the deepest questions behind existence itself. The discussion ranges from the hard problem of consciousness to the possibility that mind is fundamental, along with the roles of science, philosophy, and spirituality in approaching these mysteries.

Kuhn shares the origins of his lifelong fascination with “nothingness,” the development of his Landscape of Consciousness project, and why he insists on giving serious theories a fair hearing. The conversation also explores free will, AI consciousness, psi, afterlife questions, meditation, psychedelics, and the tension between classical theism, Eastern nonduality, and nonphysical views of mind.

For viewers interested in rigorous inquiry without dogmatism, this interview offers a sweeping tour of current thinking on consciousness and ultimate reality.
