Course playlist: • Unity in Epistemology and Ethics by Leonar...
Is morality easy for a rational person to practice, or is it necessarily a painful struggle? In this final lesson of the course, Leonard Peikoff examines this question both from the aspect of what morality requires of us mentally and in terms of taking moral action. Peikoff addresses difficult questions concerning the nature of moral conflict, concluding with an extended discussion of the moral conflict faced by the character of Hank Rearden in Atlas Shrugged.
Recorded at Second Renaissance Conference 1996, in McLean, VA.
