How to Grout Irregular Subway Tile Backsplash

Today we use them mostly on kitchen backsplashes, but subway tiles are also popular in showers and tub areas. Most subway tiles are made out of ceramic, and they are come in various sizes. 3x6,4x8,2x10, and 3x12 are the most common sizes used today. Subway tiles can also be made out of porcelain, but they are almost always ceramic. Ceramic tiles are easier to install and grout, because they are lighter and have a more absorptive clay body with a glazed surface.

A good sanded grout job can make an ok install look great!
