The sealing unit reaches production speeds up to 700 m/min and operates with an air temperature of 900°C. The temperatures and the air flow can be easily controlled with the sealing units. This makes the hot air process much more precise and climate-friendly than the process with gas flame.
The pre sealing units consist of two LE 5000 HT-U devices, which are used in the prefold section of the machine shown by Fortuna Spezialmaschinen GmbH.
