Soothing in gas fireplaces are normally caused by low air supply for combustion and poor log arrangement among many other factors.
In the video, i have explained what causes soothing and how to organize logs in a fireplace to prevent soothing.
Air shutter adjustment – The correct fuel-air mixture in your Flare Fireplace produces blue base flame with yellow tips, with minimal soot buildup. The Fuel-air mixture can be set by the installer using the air shutter adjustment.
Airshutter in this model is located at the base of the fireplace.
