I return to The Long Dark after a long time away.
A few years ago I played only part of this journey.
Since then, many things have changed — new updates, new systems, and a different feeling to survival.
Lately I’ve been trying many games… and too many of them felt empty.
So I decided to come back to something quiet, honest, and truly immersive.
This is a fresh start in Survival Mode on Voyager difficulty, with a random spawn that leaves me in Desolation Point — one of the harshest and most beautiful places in the game.
No rushing.
No noise.
Just cold wind, slow decisions, and the long road ahead.
