With the run-up to the March 5 primary, the race for California senate is getting more and more heated. The latest ad in the race for California senate claims to shed light on Rep. Katie Porter's claims she takes no money from political action committees. The ad alleges Porter takes her campaign cash directly from big pharma, big oil, and big bank executives. Porter indeed took money from particular executives. But the money was not for this Senate campaign.
