Earlier this week we visited some beautiful Bluebell woods near Wayne's family home with the intention of filming a Q&A video in a pretty location. While we were there, inspiration took hold of me and I remembered that I had a bottle of Bluebell scented fragrance oil at home. I decided to try and make a soap inspired by the beauty of the Bluebell fields.
We have used a drop swirl in blue in today's design and I have then used soap frosting in blue and green to pipe a Bluebell flower design across the top of the soap.
I am so happy with how this soap has turned out, It smells fantastic and in my mind it really does capture the beauty of the Bluebell fields.
If you wish to have a go at this design, you will need the following ingredients:
218g Sodium Hydroxide
480g Water
680g Olive Oil
198g Sweet Almond Oil
114g Castor Oil
368g Coconut Oil
150g Shea Butter
76g Cocoa Butter
40g Bluebell Fragrance Oil (from Candleshack)
1/2 tsp "Tropical Temptations" mica (Resin 8)
1/2 tsp "Purple Passion" mica (Resin 8)
1/4 tsp "Dragon's Gold" mica (Resin 8)
