Back in the 80's and 90s, a lot of Brisbane folk would have likely spent many a summer holiday at Top's, Amazon's, with the animals at Alma Park Zoo, or maybe even rode the Titan rolller-coaster at World Expo Park. Or perhaps your ancestors saw the tiger shows at Hemmant's Queensport Aquarium...

Whatever happened to these places?

While Brisbane has boasted a large number of theme parks, waterparks and wildlife centres, many of them fell in favour of the more tourist-centric areas like Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast, among many other reasons.

This video is the first part of a series of South-East Queensland's lost theme parks and amusement centres. This first episode will take a brief look at the lost theme parks of Brisbane and its surrounding areas.
