This video looks at the shoulder girdle. You can use it to assess your shoulder girdle and find out if your neck muscles are getting too involved and creating tension. Assess where the top of the arm bone sits in its socket and if you have good control at this Gleno-humeral joint.
Hopefully you should feel a lovely warmth and sense of softness around the neck and shoulders after doing this.
If you experience shoulder pain go very gently with these exercises, never push into any discomfort and stop if it doesn’t feel good.
