Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Part 16

The pair enter a control chamber, and Samus pulls up a schematic for the tower...and to get to where Samus needs to go, she needs to open the chamber below. But to do that, they need to put the tower in Maintenance Mode first by lifting the nearby clamps...and one of them is near Armstrong's location; two birds, one stone.

As they go by tram, they see the shell being loaded up and fired out of the cannon....that explains the green rain Samus encountered earlier. They eventually arrive at the area and Armstrong was ecstatic to see her commander back...but even more so when she sees Samus (apparently she's a huge fan of hers). After powering up the charge, the first clamp was set.

Along the way, Samus shows Armstrong her mission...and sees the keys as a way to escape Viewros. Duke, though reluctant at first, agrees to help Samus get the key. After powering up the second clamp, they head back....only to get attacked by an unknown transport. Armstrong punches it and they manage to get away...though they had a rough landing.

After heading further back, they were ambushed at the bridge by the same transport and the now the trio was in a firefight. The transport occasionally sent Psybots their way but Samus helped even the odds. They won the battle but the bridge has taken a toll. While Samus gets the key, Duke and Armstrong will try and buy her time to keep the place stable as long as possible.

Once through the door and onto the lava chamber....Samus encounters the guardian of this place: Phenoros, a giant serpentine creature living in the lava...and like the others, it too was possessed by Metroids. It was a long, hard-fought battle, but eventually Samus emerged triumphant. She got a new grapple too...and she'll be needing it soon.

After grabbing the key, the tower was coming apart. Using her new grapple, she worked her way through the crumbling tower to regroup. Once in the control room, she activates the escape pod for Duke and Armstrong to escape...then she got the lead out herself. The volcano erupted just as Samus got through the door....another close shave, as usual.
