Notification Regarding Class XI and XII students under Old Annual System:
Candidates who are eligible as per regulations and have passed the Class XI Annual Examination but have not yet appeared for or succeeded in the Test Examination or Higher Secondary (H.S.) Examination are permitted to continue their studies under the Semester System in Class XII, starting afresh in the academic year 2025-2026.

Eligible candidates must fill out an "Option Form" available on the Council's Online Portal (https://wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portal/da...) under their respective school's login. The form will be accessible from April 25, 2025, to May 31, 2025.

Once the Option Form is submitted, the student will be eligible to continue their studies in Class XII under the syllabus and curriculum of the Semester System, following the W.B. Council of Higher Secondary Education Regulations, 2024.

Such candidates will also be eligible to fill out the Enrolment Forms for Semester III and Semester IV Examinations, which are tentatively scheduled for September 2025 and March 2026, respectively, as per the prescribed norms and regulations.

The Project and Practical examinations for these candidates must be conducted under the Semester System syllabus and curriculum. The marks must be freshly uploaded on the Council’s Online Portal as per the notification.

During the Option Form submission, in some cases, candidates may not be allowed to continue their studies with their existing subject combination due to technical issues related to registration. In such instances, the candidate must either choose an alternative subject(s) from the available set or drop the subject(s) from their registration. For all such cases, candidates must submit an undertaking along with relevant documents at the concerned Regional Office of the Council.

Students who wish to continue their studies under the old Annual System do not need to fill out the Option Form. They will be allowed to appear for the H.S. Examination under the old syllabus and curriculum by filling out the Enrolment Form, which will be notified in due time.

Registered candidates who have not yet passed Class XI under the old Annual System and curriculum must mandatorily re-register with the Council under the new Semester System. Their previous registration will be automatically canceled. Concerned schools must immediately contact their respective Regional Offices of the Council regarding this matter.

যে সকল প্রার্থী বিধি অনুযায়ী যোগ্য এবং একাদশ শ্রেণির বার্ষিক পরীক্ষা উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছেন কিন্তু এখনও টেস্ট পরীক্ষা বা উচ্চমাধ্যমিক (H.S.) পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণ করেননি বা উত্তীর্ণ হননি, তারা ২০২৫-২০২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণিতে সেমিস্টার পদ্ধতির অধীনে পুনরায় তাদের পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যাওয়ার অনুমতি পাবেন।

যোগ্য প্রার্থীদের অবশ্যই "অপশন ফর্ম" পূরণ করতে হবে, যা কাউন্সিলের অনলাইন পোর্টালে (https://wbchseapp.wb.gov.in/portal/da...) সংশ্লিষ্ট বিদ্যালয়ের লগইনের মাধ্যমে পাওয়া যাবে। এই ফর্মটি ২৫ এপ্রিল ২০২৫ থেকে ৩১ মে ২০২৫ পর্যন্ত উপলব্ধ থাকবে।

একবার অপশন ফর্ম জমা দেওয়া হলে, শিক্ষার্থী সেমিস্টার পদ্ধতির অধীনে দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির পাঠ্যক্রম ও শিক্ষাক্রম অনুসারে এবং পশ্চিমবঙ্গ উচ্চমাধ্যমিক শিক্ষা সংসদের ২০২৪ সালের বিধি অনুযায়ী পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যেতে পারবেন।

এই প্রার্থীরা সেমিস্টার III ও সেমিস্টার IV পরীক্ষার জন্য ভর্তি ফর্ম পূরণ করতে পারবেন, যা সংশ্লিষ্ট বিধি অনুযায়ী ২০২৫ সালের সেপ্টেম্বর এবং ২০২৬ সালের মার্চ মাসে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে।

এই প্রার্থীদের দ্বাদশ শ্রেণির প্রকল্প ও ব্যবহারিক পরীক্ষা সেমিস্টার পদ্ধতির পাঠ্যক্রম অনুযায়ী সম্পন্ন করতে হবে এবং প্রাপ্ত নম্বরগুলি বিজ্ঞপ্তি অনুযায়ী পুনরায় কাউন্সিলের অনলাইন পোর্টালে আপলোড করতে হবে।

অপশন ফর্ম জমা দেওয়ার সময়, কিছু ক্ষেত্রে, প্রযুক্তিগত সমস্যার কারণে শিক্ষার্থী তার বর্তমান বিষয় সংমিশ্রণ (কম্বিনেশন) বজায় রেখে পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যেতে নাও পারতে পারেন। এই ধরনের ক্ষেত্রে, সংশ্লিষ্ট শিক্ষার্থীকে নির্ধারিত বিষয়ের তালিকা থেকে নতুন বিষয় বেছে নিতে হবে অথবা কিছু বিষয় বাদ দিতে হতে পারে। এই সমস্ত ক্ষেত্রে, প্রার্থীদের প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্রসহ একটি হলফনামা (undertaking) সংশ্লিষ্ট আঞ্চলিক অফিসে জমা দিতে হবে।

যে সকল শিক্ষার্থী পুরনো বার্ষিক পদ্ধতির অধীনে তাদের পড়াশোনা চালিয়ে যেতে ইচ্ছুক, তাদের অপশন ফর্ম পূরণ করার প্রয়োজন নেই। তারা পুরনো পাঠ্যক্রম ও শিক্ষাক্রম অনুযায়ী উচ্চমাধ্যমিক পরীক্ষায় অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ পাবেন এবং নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে ভর্তি ফর্ম পূরণ করতে পারবেন।
