Join us at Trinitatis Kirke in Copenhagen for a small concert with music for Good Friday.
We start with William Byrd's double motet Ne Irascaris Domine & Civitas Sancti Tui and end with his Lamentations, both pieces among his very best. And in the middle our basses Mikkel Tuxen and Danny Purtell sings the 13th century poem Stond wel, Moder, under rode, that imagines a dialogue between Mary and Christ as he hangs upon the cross.
